From 10-20 August 2020, Buddy Up Australia are sending a team of members over to Papua New Guinea to trek the Kokoda Track. Participants will be able to follow in the footsteps of Australian WWII veterans whilst reflecting on their own service to Australia either domestically or overseas. Chapter leaders will be running fitness sessions to prepare you for this trek.
How does it work?
Participants must be members of Buddy Up Australia to be part of this trek. You can join up here
Participants commit to raising the minimum target of $1,500 each for Buddy Up Australia in order to be part of the team. Packages available departing from:
- Cairns from $4595
- Brisbane from $4695
- Sydney from $4945
- Perth, Melbourne and other departures, contact Back Track Adventures.
We’re asking for each participant to raise a minimum of $1,500 to support our military and emergency services personnel stay in the well zone of mental and physical health. Some of your fundraising will go back into the trek cost for you so the more you raise the more your trek cost reduces.
You will receive a confirmation pack from Back Track Adventures with everything you need to know about the trek, as well as ongoing support.
You will also receive fundraising support from Buddy Up Australia, including fundraising tips and tricks, and someone to ask questions and run ideas by along the way.
Buddy Up Australia’s focus is to keep our members strong and capable both mentally and physically.
